THE LA LOBA APPROACH

Made. Remade. Found.

La Loba is rooted in a simple belief: beautiful materials and well-made objects deserve to be valued, worn, and carried forward.

From original jewelry fabricated by hand to forgotten pieces transformed into something new and vintage objects preserved for their craftsmanship, La Loba embraces a slower, more thoughtful approach to adornment.

Rather than chasing perfection or mass production, I celebrate the marks of the maker, the history within materials, and the individuality that comes from creating and collecting objects with intention.

MADE

Original La Loba designs.

MADE is the heart of La Loba original jewelry handcrafted in Detroit using traditional metalsmithing techniques including soldering, forging, carving, stone setting, lost-wax casting, and sand casting.

I work primarily with recycled sterling silver, pre-loved gold, and thoughtfully selected gemstones, drawing inspiration from nature, intuition, organic forms, and the transformative qualities of the materials themselves.

Subtle variations, textures, tool marks, and irregularities are part of the process. They are not imperfections to hide, but evidence of the human hand and what makes every piece uniquely its own.

Original. Sculptural. Made slowly by hand.

REMADE

Old things. New stories.

REMADE begins with what already exists.

Broken, tarnished, forgotten, inherited, or simply unworn jewelry is thoughtfully deconstructed, restored, and transformed into something modern and wearable again. Vintage chains become earrings. Forgotten charms become rings. Sterling silver and gold can be melted, reshaped, and given an entirely new form.

Working with existing materials reduces waste while preserving something less tangible the history already held within an object.

Because REMADE is guided by what I find, many pieces are one-of-a-kind or produced in very small quantities. Marks and variations from their former lives may remain and become part of the new design.

Deconstructed. Reimagined. Worn again.

FOUND

Objects chosen for form, craftsmanship + history.

FOUND is a continually evolving collection of pre-owned, vintage, and antique jewelry selected through the same eye that informs my own work.

I’m drawn to pieces with exceptional craftsmanship, sculptural forms, beautiful materials, and design that still feels relevant today from Mexican and Taxco silver to modernist jewelry and unexpected objects from another era.

Each piece is thoughtfully sourced, cleaned, polished, and restored when needed while preserving the integrity and character of the original.

Choosing what already exists keeps beautifully made objects in circulation while celebrating the materials, craftsmanship, and stories of the past.

Found. Restored. Collected. Worn again.

MATERIALS WITH A PAST

Whenever possible, La Loba works with materials that have already lived a life: recycled sterling silver, pre-loved solid gold, vintage jewelry and components, existing gemstones, and other reclaimed materials.

New materials and stones are chosen thoughtfully when a design calls for them.

This approach isn't about creating something perfectly new. It's about seeing possibility in what already exists and allowing good materials to continue evolving.

ONE-OF-A-KIND + SMALL BATCH

Handmade means variation.

Many La Loba pieces are created individually or in small batches rather than mass produced. Organic textures, subtle differences in shape, casting variations, and evidence of hand fabrication are part of what makes each piece special.

One-of-a-kind pieces exist only once. Small-batch designs may return, but because they are made individually by hand, no two will ever be exactly alike.

READY TO SHIP + MADE TO ORDER

Ready to Ship pieces have already made their way through the La Loba studio and are waiting for their next home. These pieces typically ship within 2–3 business days.

Made to Order pieces are original La Loba designs handcrafted especially for you. Each is made slowly and intentionally by hand in Detroit. Please allow approximately 2–4 weeks for fabrication before shipping.

Whether something is made, remade, or found, the intention remains the same:

To create and preserve objects with character—pieces that carry evidence of where they've been, how they were made, and the person who chooses to wear them next.

Made slowly. Found thoughtfully. Worn often.

Hand fabricated, transformed + collected in Detroit, Michigan.
